Educational Innovation and Practice (EIP) is open access, peer-reviewed journal published annually by Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan. EIP is an interdisciplinary publication presenting research and scholarly reviews that encompass all forms of scholarly activity with close attention being paid to quality criteria and the explicit connection between the theories employed and the data explained and used.

The journal encourages empirical and non-empirical research that explores pedagogy, action research, innovative teaching practices, commentaries, book reviews, policy briefs relating to teacher education and issues related to educational innovation and practice generally. EIP’s primary, but not exclusive, audience includes teacher educators, teachers, educational leaders, students, policymakers, educational researchers and scholars, and others interested in educational development in Bhutan.
